Mother | Blogger | Animal Lover & Advocate | 1950’s Vintage Enthusiast
First and foremost, I am a mother to a young boy. I enjoy watching him grow from strength to strength, developing into his own character. His smile melts my heart and he knows it!
A Domestic Abuse survivor, I write about real life events, explaining what I went through, how it effected me, how I escaped, positive quotes, plus more.
I am also an Animal Advocate. I have always loved animals, but decided to ‘be their voice’ after my (ex) husband murdered my kittens out of spite.

Love your blog name! Lol. I know it originates from a lot of hurt and I’m terribly sorry, but it is a spectacle that makes me laugh. It’s the truth and I love it. God bless you.

Wow. We have so much in common! I was married to a terribly abusive man for over 20 years. He murdered several pets (both mine and our sons’). I have two boys (grown men now). I can’t wait to read more of your blog!

You’re quite welcome. At least he’s gone and my husband (now) is pretty much the greatest husband in the world! (I realize there are a lot of ‘greatest husband in the world’ guys but I’m thrilled to have mine!)

Hello, my friend,
After reading your post about chocolate, I came across a post from 2016. I think that it was called, “Finally I am going to say something.”. Basically, in sharing what you have endured over there the unfair treatment by your own country is beyond unfair and ridiculous. I had no idea that other countries excluding third world countries, went through this too. I cannot honestly speak for all Americans, but my husband and I know first hand the injustices to many Americans. Our veterans who are homeless and have no food or benefits while illegal aliens have work and shelter. Those who are not citizens get 5-10 years without having to pay taxes, a home, education, car, etc.. free health care.
While those of us cannot afford healthcare so we remain unhealthy and face being fined for not having health insurance. I meant to just tell you that I read the post and email me but my fingers and emotions got the best of me. I will continue praying for you, Max, and all citizens of Britain, London, etc..
God bless.

Unfortunately, this is happening a lot to citizens in various countries deemed as civilised. i hear about homeless veterans all the time here and in the US. It breaks my heart. The way of the world is wrong – no, people. Those who do nothing and have never paid into the system seem to get everything, whilst those who work all hours and pay in to the system, get very little or nothing. Our NHS (healthcare) is on the brink of collapse; there are far too many using it and not paying into it. Sigh… Thanks for your prayers. I pray for you and America too. x
