Can’t Hold Us Down

I’ve been listening to (all sorts of) music more so than usual recently (old and recent). I guess I need to still my mind with the amount of nonsense I’ve had to deal with lately.

I’ve prepared myself for another round, just in case CJC starts again. Actually, this post is for you as you stalk my blog.

When a female fires back suddenly big talker don’t know how to act
So he does what every little boy would do
Makin’ up a few false rumors or two
That for sure is not a man for me, slanderin’ names for popularity
It’s sad you only get your fame through controversy
But now it’s time for me to come and give you more to say

Remember, I’ve won each time you’ve thrown shit at me. You simply cannot beat me. You cannot win. I warned you not to play with me, but if you wish to continue…

I’m fucking ready.

Your move.

This is for my girls all around the world
Who have come across a man that don’t respect your worth
Thinkin’ all women should be seen and not heard
So what do we do girls, shout out loud
Lettin ’em know were gonna stand our ground
So lift your hands high and wave ’em proud
Take a deep breath and say it loud
Never can, never will
Can’t hold us down

(Not the best video, but hey, the song gets the message across).

I Am Not a Number…

I Am Not a Number

… No, wait – actually I am.

Yes folks, I have been called for jury service/duty over the next couple of weeks.

So, if I’ve gone quiet (again!), this is the reason!

Canned Heat

After taking Max to preschool this morning, I popped into the local supermarket. As I stood in the queue, I realised my head and feet were moving to the tune playing. Wow, I have not heard this in years! Such a feel good number. I hope you enjoy it.

Have a great week everyone. ❤

5 Amazing Benefits of Classical Music đźŽĽ

I have to agree! I listen to classical music and find it soothing. I’ve also noticed they play it in some of London’s underground/tube stations, which I think is a nice touch to the start/end of one’s travels.
